Kajal Dhawan is a Graduate from Jesus & Mary College, University of Delhi. She is recipient of National award from the President of India. She has been outstanding in Education, Sports and other Extra Curricular Activities and has won number Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals at National and International levels. She has been adjudged as the Best Film “Deaf Challenge” got the Second Prize and best actress in CID at the India Deaf Film Festival 2011 at IGNOU Auditorium, New Delhi on 3rd & 4th Dec 2011. She is the Sports Secretary of Delhi Foundation of Deaf Women (DFDW). She has conducted a number of Workshops & Seminars in India & abroad in conjunction with Deaf Leaders (DL) India. She was one of the major functionaries for conduct of Deaf Expo 2010.

Monica Punjabi Verma is a proud CODA (Child of Deaf Adults), who grew up in the big Deaf community and is also married to a CODA interpreter. She is the first certified ISL interpreter in India from AYJNIHH/RCI, President of ISLIA, ISL Interpreters Association and also an Asian Representative of WASLI, World Association of Sign Language Interpreters. She is the Director of ISL Department and Cultural Department at Indore Deaf Bilingual Academy, run by Mook Badhir Sangathan, Indore (M.P.) Monica is also a professional Special Educator of the Deaf besides Vice President of AIDACS.

Born and grew up in loving care of Deaf family, graduated with Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Gallaudet University, Washington DC, USA and currently working as Asst. General Manager of Information Technology in the marine lines, Aqil intends to put all his knowledge and skills to good use for the Deaf community. As the President of 3rd India Deaf Expo 2012 and Miss Deaf India 2012, he invests his time in proper planning to ensure the success of the programme and his primary goal is your satisfaction.

Sunita is the Vice-President of India Deaf Expo 2012 and Miss Deaf India 2012 in Mumbai. She is recipient of National award from the President of India in 2008 and NASEOH award in 2010. She has been adjudged as the Best Film “Deaf Challenge” got the Second Prize at the India Deaf Film Festival 2011 at IGNOU Auditorium, New Delhi on 3rd & 4th Dec 2011. Sunita is currently working as the General Secretary of Bombay Foundation of Deaf Women (BFDW). She enjoys reading newspaper, travelling, learning piano and photography. Her goal is to create awareness amongst deaf in society about this important conference.

Mrs. Mrunmayi Mangeshkar
Proprietor of Etcetra, Pune

A graduate from SOFT, Pune, Mrumnayi's area of expertise runs thorugh large horizons ranging from rampwalk-training and designing fashion wear for kids to designing for ethnic and cultural shows. She has organised many exhibitions of self-designed garments under the name 'Grishma' and organised the entire program - Professional Entertainment Program - held at IIT, Powai, in Dec 2009. Apart from that, she has also designed apparels for various inter-colleigate fashion shows. Today, she is the Proprietor of 'Etcetra', and also works as a visiting faculty at Rachna Sansad, Mumbai (for MSBTE and YCMOU based curriculum) and Sanjeevan Vidyalaya (for NIFT based curriculum)

He was working as accountant in Stock Broker Company for 23 years of service. Currently he is working in stocks & investments online as his own business.

Working as the Treasurer of Miss Deaf India 2012, his goal is to ensure that accounting work is done neatly and correctly. His interest is communicating in sign langauge and his hope is make Miss Deaf India 2012 a flying Success.

After his graduation and getting PG Diploma in Tax Management from University of Mumbai, Hitesh is currently working as Accounts Executive at Express Industry Services Pvt. Ltd. He is also working as MIS reporter, Accountant in Export and Import department and had been awarded with Certificate of B.Com for milestone achievement by hearing disability 2010, Chess Tournament in college, 2007, Certificate of Merit for 3rd rank in Elocution competition in hearing disability 2005. Joining Miss Deaf India 2012, his goal is to ensure proper and honest accounting work.

Being good in Arts, she is presently working with Paraplegic Foundation as Artist Supervisor and Head of its Art section. She is the leading member of Deaf Youth Foundation conducting lectures for the Deaf, on health care, general information from newspapers and also drama workshop. Has participated in All India Chess Competition held in Chennai in 2010 and had won the award for Maharashtra. She is advisor for Maharashtra Deaf Carrom Association. As a young lady she always dreamt to be a part of Miss India contest, now as Convenor, she finds her wishes fulfilling in some way. She is very happy for the event that is to take place and she urges all Deaf to take active part in the same.

She had won award�in needlework, handicraft works & was also awarded the first prize�for the Drama contest in Delhi Deaf Expo 2010. Currently She is doing social services for the blind. She has experiences as embroidery expert working machine & handwork at Forward fashion. She is working as Senior office assistant at Trinity Tours & Travel. Her goal is to organize the events efficiently and to communicate her ideas in ensuring a strong professional identity.
